Child Safety Standards
Pleons — collective leverage

Pleons is a platform for organizing collective action — boycotts, buycotts, and petitions. It is built for adults and older teens (minimum age 16), and it has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. These standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to it. They apply to everyone who uses the Service and are enforced alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Pleons and will result in immediate removal and permanent account termination:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, animated, or AI-generated depictions.
- Sexualization of minors, including sexual comments about, or directed at, anyone under 18.
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes, or to arrange contact off-platform.
- Sextortion, threats, or the sharing of intimate imagery of minors.
- Content that promotes, normalizes, or provides instructions for child sexual abuse or exploitation.
2. How we prevent it
- Age requirement. Users must be at least 16 and provide their date of birth at sign-up. Accounts found to belong to children under 16 are deleted.
- No private messaging. Pleons has no direct-message or private-chat feature. All content — campaigns and comments — is public, which removes the primary channel used for grooming.
- Automated filtering. Abusive language is rejected before it is posted.
- Short, moderated content. Posts are limited to short text; there are no image, video, or file uploads.
3. How to report
Every campaign and every comment has a Report link inside the app; reports go directly to our moderation queue. Anyone — including people who do not use Pleons — can also report CSAE concerns by email to legal@pleons.com. Reports involving child safety are treated as the highest priority and reviewed within 24 hours.
4. How we respond
- Content that violates these standards is removed immediately upon identification.
- The responsible account is permanently terminated, and we preserve relevant records as required by law.
- Where we identify apparent CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement, as required by U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and applicable local law.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
5. Compliance
Pleons LLC complies with applicable child safety laws, including U.S. federal law and the laws of the jurisdictions where the Service is available, and with the child safety policies of the app stores that distribute the app.
